Privacy Policy

This policy covers Jorlife, the life tracker served at jorlife.com. It explains what the service stores, what it does with it, and what you control.

What we collect

Account details you give us when you register — an email address, a username, a display name, and an avatar if you set one. Then the record you keep in the app: your habits and their schedules, the days you completed them, your tasks, lists and tags, your goals and their milestones, your focus sessions, and your daily check-ins including any note you write with them. We also store what the service derives from those: XP, level, streaks and badges.

How we use it

To run the service: to show you your own record, to work out streaks and progress, to send the notifications you have turned on, and to answer service and account emails. We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties.

What is public, and what is not

Your profile is private by default. If you choose a handle and turn visibility on, a page at /@yourhandle shows your display name, avatar, level, current streak and activity grid to anyone with the link. Your email address is never on it. Turning visibility off takes the page down again.

Connected clients

If you connect the browser extension or an AI client over MCP, you issue it a token that lets it act on your account — reading and writing the same habits, tasks, goals and check-ins you can. You create those tokens yourself, they expire, and nothing gets one unless you hand it over.

Payments

Paid plans are billed by LemonSqueezy, or settled by bank transfer through SePay. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us; what we keep is the order, its status and the resulting subscription.

Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Closing your account

You can close your account from Settings, which ends access to it. If you want the underlying records removed as well, write to us at the address below and say so.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
